Senior 5G/LTE Algorithm Engineer is responsible for designing and specifying new architectures/algorithms for the physical layer of 5G wireless products (3GPP NR/LTE Rel15 and beyond). He works tightly with SW team, ASIC team and Integration team.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Ability to follow and translate the 3GPP NR/LTE standards to algorithm feature requirements Specifying the architecture & SW/HW split for 5G physical layer procedures Designing new algorithms/defining new architectures for the future products related to 5G/NR/LTE Implementing and validating the methods in the baseband simulator of the Algo team Producing and updating design / performance documents along with the development process Support of the Asic and DSP teams for the implementation/validation stages
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS : M.Sc/PhD with a major in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing At least 10 years of experience in development of wireless communication PHY layer Algorithms Strong background in digital communications and signal processing Good knowledge and working experience in C/C++ & Matlab (Python is a plus) Knowledge in 3GPP 5G/NR/LTE specifications Experience in version-control systems (SVN, git) Knowledge in ASIC and DSP implementation
