The Traiana Technology PMO (Project Manager) is responsible for delivering complex, strategic technology programs that span across Traiana.

This includes managing multiple projects that could involve external vendors and multiple business areas across the globe. The incumbent is part of the Technology division and works closely with developers, product managers, QA and data migration teams. He or she works collaboratively across the division to execute on program and portfolio objectives. He or she ensures definition of short term and long term goals within the project scope. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks and resource needs. 
  • Guides and oversees all members of project team in planning of project steps and tasks.
  • Ensures timely, tailored status reporting for large/critical programs and projects to the appropriate audiences. 
  • Communicates with senior business and IT management for project progress, financial and staffing issues.
  • Works with teams to manage change requests, including reevaluation of project and program forecasts. 
  • Analyzes and reports on variances, and leads corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manages the financial health of programs and projects. Ensures adherence to division standards for compliance and metrics.
  • Proactively manages risk through mitigation strategy planning, reaction planning, and issue resolution.
  • Aligns delivery team capabilities to the division¿s strategy, direction, and goals.
  • Ensures that each project has completion and success criteria and oversees delivery teams to ensure that criteria for are met.
  • Key requirements

  • Is able to interface with senior management to understand objectives, communicate progress and participates in roadmap planning.
  • Strong understanding of agile and scrum methodologies
  • Well versed using Jira and gathering metrics within Jira
  • Technical background - understands technology and has managed significant technology programs.
