The role

In our innovative R&D Centre in Israel, we develop a software-defined, cloud-based, video storage and processing platform, that is based on converged cloud architecture resources principle.
 

You will be joining our Streamer Development Team, which oversees the key core component of the system’s data-path, that is responsible for the content processing.

Our Streamer Development team is are looking for a skilful C++ Software Engineer – a quick learner, independent, and able to understand and work on very complex systems.

Degree-educated in Computer Science or Software Engineering, you’ll be a multi-skilled software engineer, but with a core foundation built in C++ development built up over 2-4 years. 

To be a MediaKind C++ Developer, you’ll be able to build multi-threaded applications, but you may also be comfortable building MicroServices and using Kubernetes and/or Docker.

Key skills/experience:

  • 2-4 years C++ development experience
  • Server-side Multithreaded development
  • Experience in Object-Oriented design and development
  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Experience in Networking, TCP/IP, HTTP and other application-level communication protocols
  • Familiarity with video and multimedia streaming, codecs and protocols – an advantage
  • Experienced in Python – an advantage
