We are looking for candidates with a strong program management background and practical experience working directly with product managers and software engineering teams. In this role, you will act as both a hands-on TPM and a TPM team leader that will serve as the connective tissue between scrum teams, ushering openness and efficiency across the organization. 

This role is an opportunity to be a key leader in the execution of growth opportunities for Rapyd globally. The Senior TPM is a highly visible position and candidates should be comfortable with leading teams and presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

The Rapyd Senior TPM is responsible for managing the TPM team and for hands-on end-to-end product execution with transparency and predictability. She/He will partner with engineering, product and cross-functional teams to drive high-velocity execution of high-impact outcomes. We have a strong focus on optimizing and evolving processes, the Rapyd Senior TPM must have an eye towards continuous improvement and be the Agile champion for the company.

Other responsibilities include: 

  • Manage all aspects throughout a software development program - including timeline, scope, technical requirements, and resource allocation - and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of a final product
  • Balance the role to build/manage a team of TPMs with the crucial task to roll-up the sleeves to drive projects hands-on
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to make sure teams build a roadmap that can be delivered on time
  • Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps, across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with company mission and goals
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit
  • Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.
  • Understand the product, priorities, business value in order to help set priorities and deliverables for each sprint
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and various key teams around the organization
  • Proactively identifies and produces valuable analytics for improved processes, quality and efficiency.
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical program management or technical project management 
  • 2+ years as team leader and experience managing high-performing teams
  • Certified Scrum Master or other Agile leader roles and PMP certification
  • Practical understanding of software development such as front end development, APIs, databases, and back end services
  • Solid knowledge on product and roadmap management, engineering and resource management, release management, and agile processes and tools
  • Confidence managing tech teams in high-velocity agile frameworks and continuous delivery
  • Strong coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including collaboration within diverse, cross-functional teams globally
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and demonstrating thought leadership
  • Master of Jira and Atlassian suite with complete ownership of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in the Fintech industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
