Sisense Quality & Cloud group is looking for a technical, Automation manager, experienced with Automation development processes from infrastructure to E2E tests with expert knowledge of Software development best practices and processes.

A focused mindset of continuous quality improvements around stability, functionality, automation coverage, and innovation is key. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills are required as you will collaborate with Engineers, Quality and R&D teams, customer support and Product Management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for a passionate Automation Manager, a problem solver with experience writing Automation tools, and eager to make an impact on our product and customers. As the Automation manager, you will be responsible for ensuring top quality, oversee, and coordinate the overall process and projects. You will design and enhance automation frameworks, help strategize, and improve automation test effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’VE ACCOMPLISHED… SO FAR:

  • You have experience as an Automation Manager
  • You have hands-on experience writing Python-based automation frameworks
  • You have experience working with Java - advantage
  • You have experience with automated UI testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium)
  • You are knowledgeable of various databases and storage such as SQL MySQL, MSSQL - a must
  • You are knowledgeable in Linux - a must
  • You have experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS managed service - a must
  • You have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • You have accomplished B.sc or equivalent.
  • You have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence inside and outside of the organization at the highest levels.
  • You have excellent communication skills with members, staff, and individuals in a professional manner along with the ability to present and explain information effectively.
  • You are a team player, with a high ability to work independently.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English 

    • HOW YOU’LL RAMP:

    By Day 30...

  • You will deep dive into our technology and product 
  • You will learn how we use the python and Java-based cucumber framework 
  • You will start to learn about our amazing internal automation tools for performance, load, stress, and regression tests simulations
  • You will build relationships with teams in R&D and Product 
  • You will start adding automation test cases to our CI coverage using our python framework

    • Day 60...

  • You will maintain the ongoing CI automation issues in Jenkins product tests 
  • You will develop a deep understanding and debugging skills of Sisense products by facing hand-on issues
  • You will start refactoring and writing from scratch existing strategic tool written in python

    • Day 90...

  • You will be the owner of one of the strategic automation of internal tools
  • You will work with a variety of databases MSSQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc
  • You will investigate new technologies and integrate it into our automation tools and CI framework solutions 
  • You will conduct research to improve our automation solutions and tools challenges
