Group/DivisionThe Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. In one sentence GSS Division is looking for Product Engineer to support the field integration and preparation of our wafer handlers, with multiple new customers. The Product Engineer will assume full ownership for ensuring the field service teams are prepared. This position includes direct contact with many interfaces (engineering, field service, training department, operations and customers). What your job will look like Managing the interface between the field service and the engineering teams. Responsible for preparing the field service teams to be able to maintain and support our products at the customer sites. (training, spare parts, and procedures) Work with cross functional teams to understand the current company processes, and create new processes as needed. Developing the knowledge of the product lines and the field service teams. Work directly with the engineering team to ensure the designs are reliably and serviceable by the field teams Develop the full understanding of the product life cycle process (PLC) and help educate others on the process. What you will need to succeed Bachelor’s degree required Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software or related technical field Previous Product Engineering experience - preferred Results-oriented and driven to excel. Strong analytic, data analysis skills. Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
