We are a top tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business. We are assembling a strong Risk Technology team to build our next generation in-house risk tools. This team will sit under the Risk Technology group and will develop and maintain the in-house VaR systems to support risk management and trading in Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit and FX business. Risk Technology provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
Work closely with quants, risk managers and other technologists globally to develop the underlying infrastructure for our firm wide risk platform.
"Architect, develop and maintain internal cloud platform, frameworks and offerings
Working with application developers and owners to understand requirements
Developing automated deployment and monitoring of cloud infrastructure and applications
Designing CI/CD pipelines to include application and security testing, and gates
Automating data resiliency and replication based on policies
Management and operation of environments
Automated creation of machine images and Containers

Job Qualifications:

"Expert knowledge of the design, engineering, and operations of large-scale data infrastructures.
"Strong knowledge of the LINUX operating system, including system administration, optimization, and troubleshooting. An in-depth knowledge of low-latency technologies preferred but not required.
"Cloud experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
"Familiarity with quantitative finance and electronic trading concepts.
"Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker / Kubernetes)
"Experience with open source DevOps projects
"Experience developing collaboratively, including infrastructure as code, preferably in python

Preferred Requirements

"Cloud DevOps experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
"Experience operating and monitoring both high- and low-latency trading environments.
"Cloud Security including IAM, Certificate Management, and Key management
