Material planning & logistics student in PDC Operations division is responsible for planning, control and analysis of operational/material & logistic processes in order to ensure continuous improvement and organizational efficiency in main operational and financial KPIs. As part of the student role you will get to lead independently various type of challenging projects in order to support Inventory reduction, Material flow, Supply chain ROI simulations, definition and implementation of new processes and infrastructures that supports efficient planning in low validity business environment, Shortages analysis and more.
The role includes high exposure to complex organizational processes and interfaces and requires high interpersonal skills, fast thinking, high independency and ability to lead activities with no formal authority.
Leadership and management of different projects in supply chain management world in order to support: Inventory reduction, cost saving, material flow. Logistic processes & infrastructures, organizational learning, material planning processes, responsiveness in low business validity environment and more
Be part of new material planning & logistic processes definition and implementation
Performance and outputs continuous improvement, provide creative solutions for cost problems and simulate ROI scenarios for different decisions/ processes alternatives
High importance for leadership capabilities- The role includes work with different interfaces from all the organizational levels
High importance for independent work capabilities, Definition and meeting projects milestones and timeline, clear messaging capabilities, tasks prioritization, work in dynamic and changing environment and creativity in problems solving
Work with Excel, SAP, Smartsheet and additional organization information systems for internal processes and projects management
2nd/ 3rd year student for B.S.C in industrial engineering from a leading and recognized university
Commitment to work at least 2.5 days a week
Ability to gain cooperation of others, cooperate and lead complex interfaces with no authority
Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel and manage timelines & due dates independently
