Open Letter to @Ali Anani.

Dear Dr. Ali,

You have had me and many others quite stirred up after your good-bye update. From my perspective, you would represent a great loss to the community of ideas here on beBee with your departure. So, I have been thinking; something that you have inspired in me and other readers. While preparing for my next blog, I got inspired as to how to possibly interest you to stay. All quotes and quotations are from Mykel Dixon and his book, Just Do 5omething. If the idea is too "far out", maybe there is something in it of value that you can connect with. I divide my letter into three parts: introduction, inspiration and idea.

Introduction:

I feel strongly that we need to move from “intention to action” and from “theory to experience.” In this way I had to think of something that will move us forward; and more importantly that what decisions take place are not reactive but proactive.

I needed to think of something that will be a “radical adaptation, a conscious reconfiguration and a powerful and intentional transformation.”

Inspiration:

Your work @Ali Anani has been inspirational as it has integrated, in a very important way, the ways of nature and how we can achieve success in business if we only paid more attention and learned these ways. Your metaphors are the bridges over which we can cross to get to those places of success. The following quote from Ken Robinson supports this idea (emphasis mine).

“We have to go from what is essentially an industrial model of education, a manufacturing model, which is based on linearity and conformity and batching people. We have to move to a model that is based more on principles of agriculture. We have to recognize that human flourishing is not a mechanical process; it's an organic process. And you cannot predict the outcome of human development. All you can do, like a farmer, is create the conditions under which they will begin to flourish. Human resources are like natural resources; they’re often buried deep. You have to go looking for them; they’re not just lying around on the surface. You have to create the circumstances where they show themselves.”

Idea:

Dr. Ali, how would you like to edit the first ever (if my search is accurate) social media group ebook. We can take Metamorphosis Hive’s purpose and “radically adapt” it to read: The purpose of this new hive is to gather input towards developing the idea that (and here is where you choose the focus of the book). This “colony of ideas” will result in an ebook. Your article would lead off the ebook and you would look at the submissions which would be Buzzes on their own but which you would look at their inclusion in the ebook. Of course we would have to get the beBee team led by @Javier Cámara Rica to support the movement of this “intention to action” in a practical way.

I hope that there is something in this letter that will be meaningful enough for you to consider or reconsider your engagement in beBee. I was encouraged to see a Buzz of yours just posted. I will be reading it shortly and looking forward to its relevance and contributing a comment.

Wishing you continued success in all your endeavors @Ali Anani.

With respect,

Sara

An infinite loneliness can stir us towards creative expression when we are breaking free of it, I love the "breakthrough or breakdown" line in Jerry McGuire in regards to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDbV2-tZgbg but there is an unbelievable strength in embracing the infinite loneliness because if in one direction of breaking free we find creativity, the other direction of finding peace with it, moves us towards the cosmos - it is the universe which is infinite and the universe as loneliness is the closest any of us will get of touching the face of the creation - if that is we cease fearing the infinite that is cosmos.

For me the creme de creme is the Ali Anani slideshares http://www.slideshare.net/hudali15 - articulation is great but visualization is an even more awesome experience. It is great to balance thinking with imagination - the two are not necessarily the same. There was a question Sara you asked about Time Sense, and I perceive time at my LinkedIn Physical Intelligence log. It is simply this, we are born into time and then time is born into us. When we recognize that relationship we can start embracing the timeless. Just being in a state of flow is a timeless experience - and hearing a song that is in the journey of our life is equally timeless.
